# EasyDigitizer auth.md

Authentication guide for AI agents and automated clients working with EasyDigitizer (https://easydigitizer.com).

## Summary

EasyDigitizer has **no user accounts and no logins**, and there is **no agent registration or provisioning endpoint**. Nothing here issues API keys, OAuth tokens or agent credentials.

## Public API — no credentials

The public API (base URL `https://app.easydigitizer.com`, described in https://easydigitizer.com/openapi.json and listed in https://easydigitizer.com/.well-known/api-catalog) needs no authentication:

- `POST /api/help-chat` — ask the help assistant (answers from our help content; rate limited).
- `POST /api/feedback` — send feedback a person has asked you to send (rate limited to 8 per hour per client).
- `GET /api/library` — list the Design Library designs.

Send requests without an `Authorization` header.

## The app — used by people, in their own browser

The digitizer at https://app.easydigitizer.com runs entirely in the user's browser. Designing, editing and previewing are free and need no sign-in.

Exporting files is paid:

- **Per design ($16.99)** or a **subscription ($49/month or $384/year)** is bought on a Square-hosted checkout page. A person must complete checkout themselves; agents must not enter payment details.
- After checkout the person unlocks the app on their own computer by entering the email address or phone number they used at checkout. The app then keeps a signed licence in that browser's local storage. Licences are per browser, are not transferable, and are not for automated clients.
