Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information EasyDigitizer handles and why. EasyDigitizer is a trade name of Battle Born Clothing LLC (“we”, “us”). The policy covers the website at easydigitizer.com and the app at app.easydigitizer.com.
The short version
- Your artwork and designs never leave your computer.
- There are no accounts, no cookies, no ads and no analytics or tracking.
- Payments go through Square. We never see your card number.
- We don't sell or share your personal information.
1. Your artwork and designs stay on your computer
Digitizing runs entirely in your web browser. The artwork you open, such as images, PDF and Illustrator files, and embroidery files, stays on your computer. So do the designs you make and the files you export. None of them is uploaded to us. The app saves your current design in your browser so you don't lose work, and “Send to machine” writes files straight to the folder or USB drive you choose. The app's security settings only let it talk to our own server, and that server only handles payments, licence checks and the Design Library, described below.
2. Information we do handle
Payments (Square)
When you buy a design or subscribe, you pay on a checkout page run by Square. Square collects your payment details and contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number and card. Card numbers go only to Square. In our Square account we can see your name and contact details, what you bought and when, the amount, your subscription status, and your card's brand and last four digits. Square handles this information under its own privacy notice.
Unlocking a subscription
To unlock the app, you type the email address or phone number you used at checkout. Our server passes it to Square to find your active subscription and doesn't store it. The server sends back a signed licence that the app keeps in your browser. The licence contains your Square customer and subscription IDs, your plan and an expiry date. While you're online, the app sends only that licence back to our server every few hours to check that your subscription is still active.
Per-design purchases
When you buy a single design, a random design ID is attached to the Square order. It isn't your artwork. It only lets the app unlock the right design when Square sends you back.
Design Library
When you browse the Design Library, the app loads the list of designs and their previews from our server. When you open a library design, the app sends your licence along so our server can confirm your Yearly plan. We don't keep a record of which designs you open.
Hosting
The website and app are hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request. We don't use it to identify or track you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
If you email [email protected], we receive your message and email address and keep them so we can help you.
Feedback form
If you use the feedback form on our website, we receive your message, the topic you chose and the page you sent it from. We also receive your name, email address and machine model if you fill them in, and your browser type. We use this to answer you and improve EasyDigitizer. To stop the form being flooded, our server briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, never the address itself, and deletes it after an hour.
3. What we don't do
- EasyDigitizer doesn't set cookies. Square's checkout pages are run by Square and use their own.
- We don't use analytics, advertising pixels, trackers or third-party scripts.
- We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
4. What the app stores in your browser
The app keeps a few things in your browser's local storage on your own computer. We can't see them.

Clearing your browser's data for app.easydigitizer.com deletes all of these, including your autosaved design. To unlock a subscription again, enter your checkout email or phone number. To restore a design purchase, email us your Square receipt.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that run EasyDigitizer: Square (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting and email forwarding), plus our email provider for messages you send us. We'll also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a successor if our business is sold or transferred.
6. How long we keep it
Purchase and subscription records stay in Square for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal requirements. We keep emails and feedback messages for as long as we need them to help you and improve the app. Data in your browser stays until you clear it.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, which is mostly your Square purchase records, any emails and any feedback you've sent. Send the request to [email protected]. We'll respond within the time the law requires. We may need to keep some records for tax or legal reasons. Depending on where you live, for example California, the EU or the UK, you may have more rights, and we'll honour them.
8. Security
All connections to EasyDigitizer are encrypted (HTTPS). Card details are handled by Square, not by us. Your artwork and designs stay on your own computer, so keeping that computer secure keeps your work secure.
9. Children
EasyDigitizer is for adults and businesses, and it isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
10. Where information is processed
We're based in the United States. Square and Cloudflare may process information in the US and in the other countries where they operate.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we'll tell subscribers in advance.
