Terms of Service
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Battle Born Clothing LLC, doing business as EasyDigitizer (“EasyDigitizer”, “we”, “us”), which runs the website at easydigitizer.com and the app at app.easydigitizer.com (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, or by paying for an export or a subscription, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on behalf of that business. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The short version
- Designing and previewing are free. You pay to export a design or send it to a machine.
- Your artwork and the embroidery files you export are yours. Design Library designs can be stitched on products, but the files can't be shared.
- Our software, digitizing methods and calibration are ours. Don't copy them, reverse engineer them or get around the paywall.
- Always sew a test piece before a production run.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime.
- Refunds are only available within 24 hours of a charge. After that, every charge is final.
This summary is for convenience. The full terms below are what apply.
1. Who can use EasyDigitizer
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
2. Free designing and paid exports
Anyone can create, edit and preview designs for free. To export a design to a file or send it to a machine, you need one of the following:
- Per design: $16.99, one time. Unlocks the design you bought it for, in every format, with unlimited re-exports for 30 days from purchase, in the browser you bought it in. It doesn't cover other designs, including new designs started afterwards.
- Monthly: $49 per month, unlimited designs. It starts with a 7‑day free trial. We take your card when you sign up. If you don't cancel during the trial, you're charged $49 on day 8 and every month after that until you cancel.
- Yearly: $384 per year, unlimited designs. You're charged when you sign up and then once a year on the same date until you cancel.
Prices are in US dollars and don't include taxes, which are added where required. Payments are processed by Square, and Square's own terms apply to the checkout.
Refunds are only available if you ask within 24 hours of a charge. After that, all charges are final and non-refundable. The details are in the Refund Policy.
3. Subscriptions: renewal, cancelling and changes
Subscriptions renew automatically, and your card is charged at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
To cancel, email [email protected] from the email address, or with the phone number, you used at checkout, or send this ready-made cancellation email:
Cancel my subscription- We cancel within one business day and confirm by email or text.
- If you cancel during the free trial, you're never charged.
- After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the trial or the period you've already paid for.
- A subscription is for you and the people who work in your business. Don't share it with other businesses or people outside yours.
- If a payment fails, we may pause exporting until the payment goes through, or cancel the subscription.
- If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, by email or text to the contact details you gave at checkout. You can cancel before the new price applies.
4. Your artwork and your files
- You keep all rights in the artwork you open and the designs you create. Digitizing happens in your browser, and your artwork and designs aren't sent to us (see the Privacy Policy).
- The embroidery files you export are yours. You can sew them, sell products made with them, deliver them to your own customers and share them, with no royalties to us. This includes lettering made with the built-in stitch fonts. Design Library designs are the exception, as described below.
- You're responsible for having the right to use the artwork you digitize. Many logos, characters and team marks are protected by trademark or copyright. Don't use the Service to infringe anyone's rights.
- Design Library designs (part of the Yearly plan) belong to us or to the people we licensed them from. You may stitch them, edit them, and sell or give away products stitched with them. You may not share, sell, trade, give away or publish the design files themselves, whether edited or not, or include them in any design collection. You can keep stitching designs you exported while subscribed after your subscription ends.
5. Our software, and what you may not do
The Service belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. That includes its software, auto-digitizing and stitch-generation methods, calibration settings and data, the stitch fonts as digitized, the website, and the EasyDigitizer name and logo. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, which we can revoke, to use the Service under these terms. We keep all rights we don't expressly grant.
You may not, and may not help or allow anyone else to:
- copy, modify, mirror or redistribute the Service or its code, or create derivative works of it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise try to extract the Service's source code, algorithms, calibration data or stitch-generation settings, except where the law expressly allows this despite this restriction;
- bypass, disable or tamper with licensing, payment or unlock checks, edit the licence or purchase data the app stores, or use a per-design purchase for a design it wasn't bought for;
- share, sell or publish licences, unlock details, or ways to avoid paying;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Service or to generate output in bulk;
- use the Service, or output generated from it in bulk, to train machine-learning models, to build datasets describing how it digitizes, or to develop a competing product or service;
- resell, rent, sublicense or give others access to the Service itself. Using EasyDigitizer to make embroidery files for your own customers is fine;
- remove or change any copyright, trademark or licence notice;
- disrupt the Service, overload it, or probe or test its security without our written permission. If you find a security problem, please tell us at [email protected];
- use the Service for anything illegal.
If you break these rules, your licence ends automatically, and we may use any other remedies the law allows.
Machine and thread brand names are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to describe compatibility, and their use doesn't mean we're affiliated with or endorsed by those owners. The stitch fonts are generated from typefaces licensed under the SIL Open Font License, and the app includes open-source components under their own licences. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences.
6. Sew a test first
Auto-digitizing gives you a strong starting point, not a guarantee. Fabrics, stabilizers, threads, needles, hooping and machines all vary. Before a production run, sew a test piece and check the size, density, colours, sequence and how the file loads on your machine. Files opened from other software may not carry every setting across. You're responsible for testing, and we're not responsible for damaged garments or materials, thread or needle breaks, machine wear or damage, missed deadlines or lost production that result from using a file.
7. Changes to the Service
We may add, change or remove features, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If we shut the Service down for good, we'll give subscribers at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused prepaid time on yearly plans. Files you've already exported keep working.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time, and cancel a subscription as described in section 3. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, misuse the Service or don't pay. If we end a paid subscription when you haven't broken these terms, we'll refund the unused prepaid time.
9. No warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service and everything it produces are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that files will sew correctly on every machine and material.
10. Limit on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, materials or production time. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and US$50. Some places don't allow some of these limits. Where that's the case, they apply as far as the law allows.
11. Your responsibility for claims
You'll defend us and cover our losses, including reasonable legal fees, if a third party makes a claim against us arising from artwork you digitize, files or products you make with the Service, or your breach of these terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute comes up, please email us first. We'll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If we can't, the dispute will be decided only by the state courts in Lyon County, Nevada, or the federal courts for the District of Nevada, and you and we both agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change materially affects subscribers, we'll tell them in advance by email or text. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you're accepting the updated terms.
14. Everything else
These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a successor to our business.
